Sky High Roofing was founded in 2023 in Tyler, Texas, as a proud extension of its parent company, Sky Developers. Partnering alongside its sister company, NAJ Management, Sky High Roofing is committed to delivering honest, unparalleled service and unmatched workmanship throughout the East Texas region. Backed by over 17 years of experience in construction and development, our team is dedicated to bringing industry-leading quality and care to the ever-evolving roofing industry.
Our founder, Dr. Roman Skylar, is not only a leader in construction and development—he also serves as the Medical Director at Hospitality Health ER, a local emergency room in Tyler. His deep ties to both healthcare and the local community reflect our mission: to serve with integrity, precision, and a people-first approach in everything we do.

Roman Skylar, M.D., M.B.A.
Chief Executive Officer, Founder
Dr. Roman Skylar is an emergency medicine physician, healthcare executive, and entrepreneur based in Tyler, Texas, with more than 25 years of clinical and leadership experience. He currently serves as a practicing emergency medicine physician and Medical Director and is also a co-owner of Hospitality Health ER, where he helps guide clinical operations and strategic growth while ensuring high-quality, patient-centered emergency care for the community.
Dr. Skylar earned his medical degree from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and completed his residency training at Beth Israel Medical Center; he is board-certified in Emergency Medicine and also holds an M.B.A. from the University of Miami Herbert Business School.
In addition to his medical career, Dr. Skylar is an active business owner and investor, serving as CEO of NAJ Management and Sky Developers LLC, with a focus on real estate investment and development, and as owner of Sky High Roofing. His diverse background uniquely blends medicine, business strategy, and operational leadership, reflecting a strong commitment to excellence, innovation, and long-term value creation across all of his professional endeavors.
